Requirements

10+ years of experience in Technical Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related field
Experience leading and developing global teams
Strong understanding of multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability systems
Experience with capacity planning and performance tuning
Experience with security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management
Process-oriented and strategic leadership skills
Holistic, systems-thinking approach to operational excellence
Proactive and meticulous with a keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of 24x7 Technical Operations Engineers
Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Technical Operations function
Establish repeatable, scalable processes that align with Coupa's overall product and business objectives
Measure and report on customer-facing SLAs and internal SLOs
Direct the routine maintenance, monitoring, and health management of the Coupa platform's multi-cloud infrastructure
Oversee capacity planning and performance tuning
Lead the team in proactive patch management and vulnerability remediation
Collaborate with the security team to implement and enforce security best practices
Partner with Engineering teams to manage and improve automated CI/CD pipelines
Refine release orchestration processes to minimize risk and downtime
