Responsibilities

  • Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed organization of engineering managers and software engineers
  • Define and execute the multi-year technical vision and roadmap for a new, commercial fraud product suite sold to Twilio customers, from inception to launch and scale
  • Evolve the technical strategy for the Twilio Lookup product, reimagining it as a core data intelligence engine that powers both standalone data use cases and the new fraud product suite
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Data Science, GTM, and other cross-functional leaders to shape product strategy and ensure alignment on business goals
  • Drive a culture of innovation, velocity, and quality, fostering an environment of technical excellence and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the development of a highly scalable, real-time B2B fraud platform that Twilio's customers will use to protect their own applications
  • Champion engineering and operational best practices, establishing metrics and processes for monitoring system health, performance, and customer impact
  • Manage team budget, headcount planning, and resource allocation to align with strategic priorities
  • Communicate the vision, strategy, and status of your organization effectively to a wide range of audiences, from individual engineers to senior executives
