Requirements

Candidates should possess 8+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain management, with a minimum of 3 years specifically managing outbound shipping and 3PL relationships for an ecommerce or direct-to-consumer brand. Strong experience with ecommerce fulfillment is required, along with experience in carrier management and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Distribution, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s distribution strategy and execution through a 3PL partner, overseeing day-to-day relationships with the 3PL, managing KPIs, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring a positive brand experience through every shipment. You will also oversee fulfillment operations across all outbound channels, conduct regular business reviews with the 3PL, support new product launches and promotional campaigns, manage outbound shipping strategy and execution, ensure inventory accuracy, lead cost-saving initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to align logistics operations with brand and customer experience standards.
