Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational publishing, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of K-12 academic standards, instructional best practices, and digital learning trends is essential, alongside a passion for improving education equitably and a demonstrated empathy for educators.
The Director of Curriculum will foster a collaborative, high-performance culture, leading the development of high-quality, research-based curriculum content for digital learning products and ensuring alignment with state and national academic standards. They will collaborate with product teams to integrate curriculum with technology, monitor and analyze curriculum effectiveness through data-driven insights, and establish processes for curriculum quality control. Furthermore, they will stay current with educational trends, innovate usability of HQIM, provide project updates to stakeholders, and perform other assigned tasks as needed to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

The platform includes tools for curriculum planning, student assignments, assessment, and analytics. It offers both free and premium versions, with the free version providing essential features and the premium version, Kiddom Academy, offering advanced analytics and reporting tools. Schools and districts can subscribe to the premium services for a fee, which allows them to access more comprehensive features for managing educational data. The platform is available on iOS and Android, enabling teachers to plan and assess learning from anywhere. Kiddom's goal is to enhance educational outcomes by providing data-driven insights and improving communication between teachers and students.
