Requirements

Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, AI tools, and legal workflow automation
Ability to design and implement process improvements, with a focus on efficiency and productivity gains
Experience with regulatory compliance and customer relations is a plus
Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders

Ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage outside counsel relationships

Responsibilities

Own the administration and optimization of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, ensuring maximum efficiency and user adoption across the organization
Lead evaluation, implementation, and management of AI tools and legal workflow automation to drive productivity gains
Design and continuously improve legal department processes, metrics, and reporting dashboards
Manage vendor relationships for the legal technology stack and coordinate with IT on system integrations
Draft comprehensive, strategic responses to regulators and state enforcement agencies, protecting company interests while maintaining customer relationships
Develop and maintain complaint resolution processes and regulatory compliance documentation
Coordinate with customer success teams on complaint prevention strategies and trend analysis
Support ongoing compliance with applicable regulations
Partner with VP of Legal on strategic legal initiatives, department planning, and resource allocation
Create and maintain legal department policies, procedures, and playbooks to enable scale and consistency
