Requirements

  • Strategic leadership experience in learning and development, particularly in product education, certifications, and learning platforms
  • Ability to align learning initiatives with go-to-market priorities and business KPIs (e.g., product adoption, advertiser spend, sales enablement, partner satisfaction)
  • Expertise in developing and overseeing GTM training plans for product launches and updates
  • Experience creating role-based learning pathways and multi-modal training programs (ILT, vILT, eLearning, simulations, video)
  • Knowledge of certification program design, assessments, tiered frameworks (101/201/301), and industry-recognized academies
  • Proficiency in managing learning platforms (LMS, analytics tools), integrations, and emerging technologies (AI coaching, adaptive learning, gamification)
  • Skills in data analytics, dashboards, and measuring learner engagement, certification impact, and business outcomes
  • Experience collaborating with product marketing, global tech teams, vendors, and localization teams
  • Understanding of data security, privacy, accessibility (WCAG), and compliance standards

Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Product Training, Certifications, and Learning Platform management
  • Align learning initiatives with Walmart Connect’s GTM priorities for internal teams and external audiences
  • Drive measurable business outcomes by linking learning to KPIs like product adoption, advertiser spend, sales enablement, and partner satisfaction
  • Collaborate with TED vertical leaders (Associate Development, Sales Development, Governance) for alignment and scalability
  • Develop and oversee GTM training plans for product launches/updates, equipping sales, account management, and partner success teams
  • Create and maintain role-based learning pathways from foundational to advanced omni-channel expertise
  • Partner with Product Marketing to reflect product strategy, positioning, and value proposition in training
  • Build multi-modal training programs designed for engagement, retention, and on-the-job application
  • Lead and grow Walmart Connect Academy as an industry-recognized center for education and certification
  • Oversee certification program design, assessments, updates, and tiered frameworks for advertisers, agencies, and associates
  • Align internal enablement with external certifications for consistent standards and outcomes
  • Partner with vendors and localization teams to expand Academy reach, accessibility, quality, and compliance
  • Measure certification impact via data on adoption, engagement, advertiser ROI, and product retention
  • Lead strategy, management, and optimization of learning technology ecosystem (LMS, analytics)
  • Ensure platform functionality, integrations, and data flow for internal and external users
  • Collaborate with Walmart Global Tech and enterprise teams for unified learning experiences
  • Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies (AI, adaptive learning, gamification)
  • Develop dashboards and insights for learner engagement, certification progress, and business impact
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and accessibility standards
