Requirements

Minimum of 8+ years experience, with a minimum of 5 years on Capitol Hill
Knowledge of energy, environment, or infrastructure required
Proven project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
A team oriented, collaborative approach, with the ability to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders
Strong writing skills with the ability to quickly simplify complex topics, produce high quality analyses, and craft compelling materials. PowerPoint experience is a requirement
Strong interpersonal skills who works well in teams and values relationships but is also able to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit

Responsibilities

Design and execute advocacy strategies that help clients meet their goals in the energy, environment, and infrastructure sectors
Guide clients through the rapidly evolving landscape of energy policy, tax legislation, and regulation, delivering actionable insights
Manage projects to deliver measurable impact, foster collaboration, and deepen client relationships
Cultivate strong relationships with key policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders in Congress, the Administration, and federal agencies
Monitor and analyze legislative, regulatory, and industry trends across key sectors and alert clients to opportunities and risks
Represent clients in meetings with government officials, policymakers, and other stakeholders
Develop high-quality written materials to effectively communicate and advance client objectives across policy, corporate, and legislative arenas
