Experience in project management, process management, and organizational change management
Expertise in IT Project Management Office (PMO) processes including Demand Management, Resource Management, Financial Management, Portfolio Management, Project Management, IT Talent Management, and IT Business Operations
Understanding of PMBOK principles related to scope, schedules, budget, and quality
Ability to define, instrument, and track KPIs and success metrics
Strong partnership and communication skills to work with various internal groups
Responsibilities
Define, manage, and facilitate the future of Owens & Minor’s IT service delivery and operations processes
Build the PMO from the ground up, including all processes, procedures, and metrics
Oversee the health and proper function of Global IT’s distributed Project Managers
Create and implement new processes, procedures, and metrics aligned with organizational goals
Be accountable for overall organizational portfolio and project metrics
Partner with internal groups to identify key processes, priorities, and pain points
Define and track KPIs and success metrics to measure department performance
Keep Sr. Leadership informed of the health and progress of the Global IT Organizations
