Requirements

  • Experience in project management, process management, and organizational change management
  • Expertise in IT Project Management Office (PMO) processes including Demand Management, Resource Management, Financial Management, Portfolio Management, Project Management, IT Talent Management, and IT Business Operations
  • Understanding of PMBOK principles related to scope, schedules, budget, and quality
  • Ability to define, instrument, and track KPIs and success metrics
  • Strong partnership and communication skills to work with various internal groups

Responsibilities

  • Define, manage, and facilitate the future of Owens & Minor’s IT service delivery and operations processes
  • Build the PMO from the ground up, including all processes, procedures, and metrics
  • Oversee the health and proper function of Global IT’s distributed Project Managers
  • Create and implement new processes, procedures, and metrics aligned with organizational goals
  • Be accountable for overall organizational portfolio and project metrics
  • Partner with internal groups to identify key processes, priorities, and pain points
  • Define and track KPIs and success metrics to measure department performance
  • Keep Sr. Leadership informed of the health and progress of the Global IT Organizations
