Responsibilities

  • Manage the activities of a team comprised of senior finance managers and multiple Financial Analysts; mentor and develop team members through performance improvement guidance, training, and development opportunities
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of all financial results, analyses, and forecasts; drive compliance to policies and controls
  • Manage financial assessment and analysis of assigned strategic initiatives/objectives in partnership with product leadership; provide recommendations and counsel on the efficacy of new initiatives and opportunities
  • Lead development of business case models for services product streams (including hardware and software); ensure models are consistent with practices used for NPD projects
  • Manage initiatives to ensure CG financial systems and data sources can transact and recognize revenue and costs of new connected services businesses
  • Assess periodic reporting and analysis needs for business performance management; develop and modify standardized periodic reporting; drive consistency in business/financial terms and metrics
  • Deliver financial decision support; assist product management with key metrics and trends
  • Develop and maintain lifetime value models including services revenues, partner revenues, and product revenues
  • Drive the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for services product streams to align with strategic direction; ensure compliance to planning timelines
  • Facilitate purchase order management and cost center budgeting
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and ensure team compliance; protect company reputation by maintaining confidentiality
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance team by attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining team members
  • Drive performance management and compensation processes by communicating expectations, monitoring/evaluating performance, providing feedback, and facilitating development
  • Maintain transparent communication; contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
