Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on external communications, public relations and corporate reputation
  • Proven experience in complex business environments and regulatory industries
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare sector, including primary care, home health and pharmacy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate lines of communication outside the organization
  • Work closely with senior executives on external communications, corporate reputation, media and public relations
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to an internal team of Humana associates, as well as external public relations agency partners
  • Ensure Corporate Communications is successfully helping to position each of these businesses as they pursue performance and growth goals
