Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA and/or CFA, CAIA, CIMA, CFP designations desirable
  • 7+ years of experience in the financial services/investment management industry
  • Extensive experience in the ETF industry
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience supporting fixed income and/or alternative ETFs desired
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships across legal, compliance, marketing, product and investment teams
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 required
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Represent Virtus as a subject matter expert demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of ETFs
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities/relationships for Virtus’ ETF product suite
  • Partner with Virtus wholesalers nationally, serving as a subject matter expert on our ETF product offerings
  • Construct and execute, in collaboration with the Managing Director of ETF Sales, a strategic distribution plan to acquire new clients in ETF professional buyer channels
  • Establish new strategic relationships with potential to extend beyond ETFs
  • Deliver investor feedback to senior management about current product construction and actively contribute to new product ideas
  • Conduct regular product training presentations to internal and external sales teams and travel to industry events and national sales meetings
