Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of at least one state bar
  • A minimum of 10-12+ years of relevant legal experience, particularly with complex technology agreements, and some in-house experience preferred
  • Proven drafting skills and experience leading complex, high-impact deal negotiations for various agreements, with extensive experience in software technology agreements
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to frame complex legal issues succinctly and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Dedication to providing clients with high-quality and timely legal and business advice
  • Proven creative problem-solving capabilities, good business instincts, and the ability to apply common sense to provide both practical and theoretical advice
  • Flexibility to work with colleagues, business partners/clients, and others in time zones other than where the position is based
  • A sense of humor, selflessness, strong self-awareness, and a desire to be the best colleague you can be

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Senior Director, Adobe Global Partner Legal team
  • Structure, draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of agreements, including technology licenses, content acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and vendor agreements
  • Evaluate and successfully implement continuous improvements for standard terms, templates, and legal processes
  • Cultivate knowledge in Digital Media solutions to offer support and counsel for the Creative Cloud and Document Cloud family of products, including Firefly and generative AI solutions through inbound and outbound strategic partnerships
  • Keep abreast of the rapidly changing industry and legal landscape
  • Build positive relationships and advise multiple levels of management on legal issues
