Requirements

Solid computer science foundation
Effective combination of interpersonal and technical skills
Passion for learning and expanding into other technologies
Experience working in integration projects with familiarity in various industry standard integration patterns and a platform mindset
6+ years’ experience engineering/developing web enabled applications
Proven track record as a solution architect, architecting, designing, and building new solutions with very strong analysis skills OR prior experience as a business architect with deep experience in business architecture practices
Experience with Agile development methodology
Experience with Micro-Service Architecture & SOA
Experience in all aspects of AWS cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms and data)
Working knowledge in all aspects of solution architecture (infrastructure/network topology, application architecture operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization)
Working knowledge of an architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF)
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages
Well versed in Java, .net, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript
Working knowledge of continuous integration/deployment
Experience with event-driven, serverless architecture, design, and implementation
Heightened awareness, experience or passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Experience with agile development, DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery
Ability to work both independently and with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical team members
Contribution to the open-source community would be beneficial

Responsibilities

Support business architecture initiatives of multiple product areas within Fidelity Wealth and Fidelity Brokerage
Work with business and technology leadership to build capability maps, define target architectures, and architecture roadmaps
Help deliver the technical products that enable and support business capabilities
Develop and support architecture processes throughout the organization
Work closely with business leadership, product owners, architects, and engineers in an agile environment to help them understand architecture processes, follow required standards, and engage in best practices
Champion innovation, drive standardization, and deliver modern technology patterns across the stack for customers' use as a member of the architecture team
Contribute to the product roadmap evolution in conjunction with business unit product goals
Provide leadership in computing services, adoption of platforms, and consolidation across team initiatives
Coordinate closely with product owners and colleagues across the enterprise to stay aligned on business and technology goals and ensure squads progress and deliver against them
Occasionally represent the voice of the customer to ensure squad members understand their needs and preferences
