Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or 3+ years with a PhD (Basic Qualifications)
  • Preferred: 12+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree, 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 6+ years with a PhD
  • Proven track record in disciplined sales practices, including building/maintaining a robust pipeline, territory management planning, and delivering on sales quotas/OKRs
  • Experienced sales and business development leader in the payments ecosystem
  • Maintains executive-level relationships with banking and credit union clients
  • Ability to articulate Visa value proposition, explain contract terms, and negotiate contracts

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales, retain payment volume/revenue, and execute opportunities for net new growth across Community issuing financial institutions in Pacific Northwest (WA/OR/AK)
  • Drive strategy, pipeline, and agenda for banks/credit unions in the territory
  • Identify strategic opportunities through client engagement and develop understanding of segment/customer needs
  • Serve as the face of Visa, drive thought leadership/vision, and engage with industry associations
  • Review market/competitive landscape to identify opportunities/strategies positioning Visa as market leader
  • Focus on execution/deliverables, exceed goals, and identify innovation opportunities
  • Master Visa’s CRM systems/tools for territory/pipeline management
  • Influence client vision for card/non-card payments aligned with Visa strategies
  • Review client strategies/market landscapes, communicate insights to peers/West region VP
  • Develop client engagement approaches to meet business objectives
  • Deliver on annual goals/objectives
  • Represent Visa at industry meetings/trade shows and lead external speaking engagements
