Responsibilities

Ensure all site products are manufactured, tested, and released in strict compliance with relevant regulations and Abbott requirements
Manage Quality Control and Quality Assurance services
Qualify suppliers of starting materials and packaging materials, as well as manufacturing subcontractors, including corresponding quality agreements
Design, implement, and maintain an appropriate supplier management program
Assist responsible services in resolving issues and making decisions
Handle information requests from authorities, especially those related to inspections
Release products to market in accordance with applicable regulations
Manage quality-related activities on behalf of the site
Ensure compliance with Abbott's Established Pharmaceutical Products quality system and other applicable regulations
Lead site projects and ensure quality is integrated
