Requirements

  • Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
  • Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Knowledge of UAT activities, tasks, tools and techniques; ability to design, implement and evaluate acceptance tests for end-users
  • Background in construction operations with hands-on experience using Caterpillar technologies
  • Extensive experience with Cat Grade technologies, including machine control, site positioning, and customer deployment
  • Strong knowledge of Caterpillar payload applications, including onboard weighing systems
  • Strong listening skills to identify new products and features from customer feedback
  • Experience in the development of web solutions or machine performance and control systems
  • Self-motivated, results-driven individual with technical expertise
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and field support
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational insights into actionable product improvements
  • Ability to explain products and services

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design changes
  • Conduct tests and simulations to validate design modifications and ensure they meet performance and quality standards
  • Evaluate customer feedback and integrate insights into product enhancements
  • Lead root cause analysis for product failures and develop corrective action plans
  • Communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaborate with development teams to meet industry requirements
  • Deliver on short-term needs that align with long-term strategic visions
  • Analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement
  • Serve as a critical liaison between customers, field service teams, and product development, ensuring VisionLink delivers measurable value across customer segments
  • Contribute to the definition of operations management space of VisionLink, focusing on optimizing product implementation and customer experience—particularly in the areas of Cat Grade technologies and payload applications
