A high school diploma or GED is required, along with medium/heavy duty truck technical training, either a 2-year school plus 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, and a current valid driver's license.

Strong candidates will have proficiency in diagnosing and repairing fleet vehicles including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and HVAC, experience with electrical meter testing, DC low voltage electric motor knowledge, and the ability to complete electrical repairs and welding projects.
