Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Competency in operation of home dialysis therapy-related equipment, including troubleshooting via telephone
  • Appropriate staff licensures and CPR certifications
  • Ability to manage physical demands of a health care facility environment

Responsibilities

  • Manages operations of multiple Home Therapies programs, including growth, patient retention, costs, scheduling, and staffing
  • Directs activities aligned with strategic plans, goals, and objectives of the region, division, and company
  • Implements quality goals and action plans to achieve quality standards
  • Collaborates with operations leaders, market development, in-center leadership, and patient education/quality teams to promote home therapies growth
  • Manages profit and loss, ensuring optimal performance to meet or exceed budgets and key performance indicators
  • Directs and manages all aspects of patient care for Home Therapies patients from admission through discharge
  • Provides direction, guidance, and support to staff for safe and effective delivery of home therapy care to ESRD patients
  • Oversees patient and caregiver readiness, training on equipment operation and maintenance, and assesses home environment suitability
  • Manages patient experience efforts, supporting satisfaction initiatives and company values
  • Ensures staff competency in equipment operation, troubleshooting, licensures, and certifications
  • Manages program supplies, equipment tracking, and timely replenishment of orders
  • Directs Continuous Quality Assurance Improvement, patient retention, Clinical Algorithm Adoption, patient access, and training success
  • Oversees data entry for patient admission, regulatory reporting, billing, physician orders, lab results, vital signs, and treatment data
  • Ensures timely completion of regulatory, compliance, and audit activities
  • Orients and supports new home therapies staff, provides ongoing education, and ensures compliance with risk management initiatives
  • Handles hiring, coaching, counseling, performance reviews, disciplinary action, and terminations
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and development plans for direct reports, partnering with Human Resources
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
