Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of DevOps Engineering or Software Development experience, preferably with Java. A DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification, such as a Security+ certification, is required, along with U.S. citizenship and a current Secret U.S. Government Security clearance. Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration, configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet, and AWS services including EC2, S3, and Lambda is necessary.

Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of infrastructure in AWS, automating deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability of services, managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, collaborating with development teams on application integration, monitoring and troubleshooting production systems, continuously improving processes and tools for high availability and performance, and staying current with new technologies and industry trends. They will also perform other duties as assigned.
