Requirements

Hands-on experience with Azure ecosystem and its related services (AppService, AKS, AKV, Private Networking)
Strong background in software development and operations
In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture principles, technologies, and best practices
Experience in implementing and managing monitoring, alerting tools, and vulnerability scanners
Experience with application containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, GitOps)
Experience with implementing CI/CD for applications and infrastructure (Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, GitHub)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
Nice to have: Knowledge of networking technologies, security protocols, and best practices
Nice to have: Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX system administration, including configuration, optimization, and security

Responsibilities

Cooperate with the development team to understand requirements and propose infrastructure architecture
Design and automate infrastructure deployment through IaC
Participate in cross-regional best practices guilds and knowledge exchange
Implement and maintain security tools, processes, and best practices to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and infrastructure
Follow changes to security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations
Provide guidance and training to team members on secure coding practices, threat modeling, and risk management
Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents
Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure secure and efficient deployment of applications and infrastructure in Azure cloud
