Requirements

Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or related software engineering background
Experience in team and people management in an engineering environment
Significant, demonstrable experience in software development
Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle in an Agile organization
Ability to autonomously dig into an existing codebase and understand its concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proactive approach with ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient English, both written and spoken
Curiosity about the functional part of the product; base knowledge about the Finance industry highly appreciated
Passionate about technology, with personal ownership for the work
Data-focused, with an eye for details
Curious and eager to learn new things, with a healthy disrespect for the status quo

Responsibilities

Establish and grow the Software Engineering team in Gurgaon
Mentor and guide junior talent to deliver impactful outcomes for the business
Analyze, refine, implement, and validate new features as a hands-on Senior Developer
Lead and strengthen Database management policies with a focus on improving processes
Collaborate with other development teams, business partners, and QA team members to deliver high-quality software
Build new features from conception up to deployment in production
Handle aspects of a SaaS product, including production monitoring and incident resolution on the cloud platform
Contribute to improvement of team methodologies: continuous integration/continuous delivery, automated testing, standard processes' definition
