Requirements

  • 7+ years in software engineering or DevOps
  • Proven experience leading developer productivity or internal tooling initiatives
  • Expertise with CI/CD systems, IaC, and cloud-native tech (Kubernetes preferred)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and modern delivery practices
  • Experience measuring and improving engineering workflows and developer experience
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change-driving skills
  • Desirable
  • Familiarity with DORA, SPACE framework, and developer experience research
  • Background working in distributed/remote engineering organizations
  • Experience with modern AI-assisted development tooling and automation

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers across teams to identify friction points and productivity challenges and proactively address them
  • Lead technical initiatives, defining requirements, technical implementation and leading execution
  • Evaluate and implement tools for source control, CI/CD, local dev, and workflow automation
  • Work with architecture and development teams to define and evolve golden paths, development workflows, and reference architectures
  • Define and track developer productivity metrics (e.g., DORA + DevEx measures)
  • Work cross-functionally to embed DevOps and platform engineering best practices
  • Act as a thought leader for engineering excellence and modern development practices
  • Maintain documentation and provide onboarding support for tooling and processes
  • Advocate for engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement
