Requirements
- Ability to work in the office or field
- Familiarity with engineering practices associated with assigned projects and the Company’s construction practices and procedures
- Ability to organize and direct drafting projects to completion
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude for higher grade drafting work
- At least three years’ experience as Drafting Technician Grade III – Pay Grade VIII or demonstrated ability
Responsibilities
- Assist employees of higher rating in the office and field
- Design, assemble, prepare drawings, and make revisions on existing drawings
- Make new drawings on difficult and complex projects
- Perform related field checking
- Instruct other employees in the work of this grade
- Respond to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs
