Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Life Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in design transfer, product development, or a similar leading role within Life Science
  • Experience from a leading role (e.g. as design transfer engineer, project manager, or activity leader)
  • Experience from regulated environments (e.g. ISO 13485)
  • ERP system experience
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate, and when necessary, perform design transfer activities within development projects according to internal processes
  • Act as responsible owner for change control of existing products and coordinate activities between different teams and departments
  • Contribute to key activities such as process development, qualification and validation, creation of manufacturing methods, and setup of article structures (e.g. Bill of Materials)
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop work processes within the design transfer area
  • Participate in risk assessments for projects, processes, and products
  • Provide regular status updates to your manager and relevant parties
  • Lead the design transfer core team and coordinate activities in cross-functional NPI, major CCs or business projects with higher complexity and impact
  • Supervise and mentor new employees in the design transfer process
