Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Discovery team to refine and translate business requirements into functional designs
  • Facilitate discussions with business customers and IT partners to clarify needs, dependencies, and priorities
  • Assess technical feasibility of proposed solutions (automation, AI, or process standardization) and guide design decisions
  • Lead design sessions to define end-to-end process flows and identify automation or optimization opportunities
  • Supervise and validate the functional design work produced by Business Analysts, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technical feasibility, and Finance transformation goals
  • Provide guidance and quality assurance across design work — ensuring that process documentation, user stories, and functional specifications meet established standards
  • Act as the Design Governance Owner for Finance Digital Transformation, setting standards, templates, and guidelines for design consistency
  • Partner with ERP, CRM, and Data teams to validate data sources, integration points, and solution feasibility
  • Guide the evaluation of solution options (e.g., RPA, Power Platform, AI-based, workflow automation) based on business value and complexity
  • Be responsible for project delivery activities from design through implementation, ensuring alignment to governance and Agile or hybrid delivery standards
  • Handle project timelines, risks, dependencies, and customer expectations using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Track delivery indicators and provide clear updates to leadership on progress, risks, and value realization
  • Serve as a coach and mentor for Business Analysts/Designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration
  • Strengthen multi-functional alignment between Finance, IT, and Data teams to ensure end-to-end delivery success
  • Promote the creation and adoption of internal playbooks, reusable frameworks, and process documentation
  • Deliver to portfolio governance and represent the Design & Delivery stream in planning and review sessions
