Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of warehouse management experience in a high volume, automated distribution environment
  • Ability to lead by example, mentor, develop, and foster a team environment
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate proper technical, equipment, and systems processes
  • Ability to work any shift, including 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday 5:30 am-4:00 pm) and 5th Shift (Wednesday-Friday 5:00 pm-5:30 am)
  • Must be open to any schedule and arrive 1 hour before shift start and stay 1 hour after shift end
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee up to 20 warehouse associates, ensuring they work proficiently and safely
  • Lead a team of warehouse associates to successfully meet operational goals within an assigned department and across an assigned shift
  • Oversee Receiving operations: ensure all merchandise is scheduled, received, unloaded, and checked into the distribution center
  • Oversee Order Selection operations: ensure product is replenished, selected, and labeled
  • Oversee Shipping operations: ensure merchandise is scanned, loaded, and shipped
  • Oversee Equipment operations: ensure product is moved and slotted safely and properly using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
