  • Strong understanding of deduplication, replication, and backup workflows
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows Server environments
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation tasks
  • Dell EMC certifications such as Data Protection Specialist (DECS-SA) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent hands-on technical experience may be considered)

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Dell EMC Data Domain storage appliances used for data protection and deduplication
  • Monitor system health, performance, and capacity planning for enterprise storage environments
  • Manage backup and recovery operations using tools like Avamar, Networker, NetBackup, Veeam, or Commvault
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backup and restore issues across heterogeneous environments (Windows, Linux, VMware)
  • Perform data replication, retention policy management, and offsite storage configuration for disaster recovery
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting playbooks
  • Provide technical consultation and workshops on storage and cyber recovery architecture for clients or internal teams
