Any Graduation
7 to 11 years of experience (with 10+ years preferred in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing across shared services/Third Party BPO service providers - Essential)
Skill in Property & Casualty Underwriting - Insurance Underwriting

Responsibilities

Define Insurance policy and calculate premium including terms and conditions for Property
Handle rating and quoting including receipt, clearance, data gathering and submission for new business or renewal submissions to support developing insurance quotes
Track and translate quality, timeliness, productivity, and service delivery requirements into individual, team, and unit metrics; recommend performance measurements
Review and manage production and quality control reports and take action for improved results
Work independently on the largest and most complex accounts with limited direction
Review and analyze complex premium allocations from clients and brokers; respond to queries on regulatory compliance, structure, fees, and progress execution
Develop skills, knowledge, and competencies of underwriting assistants through coaching and feedback in cooperation with team leader and/or underwriting manager
Serve as subject matter expert for company and departmental projects or initiatives
Participate and/or lead underwriting project teams, providing progress summaries and updates to leadership
Participate in user acceptance testing and other special projects, applying expert understanding of systems, tools, and processes
Work with underwriting assistants to resolve data quality errors
Provide ongoing training to underwriting assistants through 1-1 and group sessions in cooperation with Team Lead and/or manager
Review workflows/processes semi-annually to identify efficiencies; document changes and train onshore/offshore teams
Identify process risks and conduct regular forecast vs. incoming vs. completion analysis
Conduct performance reviews of the team, create action plans for deficits, and track closure
Perform daily staffing planning and management of SLAs and KPIs
Ensure weekly highs and lows are highlighted and implement zero surprise framework
Develop relationships with client stakeholders
