Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (any graduation)
10-14 years of experience, with 12+ years specifically in UK Pension domain – Investment Administration
5+ years of experience managing processes across Investment Administration with a team span of 35-50 employees
Extensive hands-on operating and domain experience in UK Pension operations, with deep expertise in end-to-end Investment Administration (e.g., Limit Reviews, Investment Management, Fee Adjustments, Payment Allocations, Asset Transfer, Corporate actions & Fund Mergers, Bulk Disinvestment, Annual Statements, Data Development, Application and Payment, Income tax submissions and enquiries)
Good understanding of UK Pension front-to-back platforms; certifications in UK Pension are an added advantage
Thorough understanding of operational front-to-back procedures supporting UK Pension operations
Strong understanding of risks in financial reporting, access governance, data security, privacy, and process controls, with ability to implement control frameworks
Detail-oriented to avoid, eliminate, and mitigate risks
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience handling CXO-level stakeholders
Experience leading and managing Operations transformation and change at scale (e.g., RPA, OCR, data analytics, workflow), with a track record of driving productivity and efficiency
Strong background/culture with ability to identify future risks and conduct thorough contingency planning for resiliency
Ability to define and implement excel risk metrics for process tracking and monitoring
Ability to understand and analyze complex problems and provide effective tactical and strategic solutions
Excellent understanding of business strategy and ability to apply it in decision-making; aptitude to operate at varying levels of detail (strategic to close attention)
Experience with remote transition and hands-on process reporting (SLA, TAT, Quality, AHT, NIGO, RCA)
Excellent leadership skills, ability to manage teams in critical situations, and drive holistic engagement
Previous experience managing a team of professionals
Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex information to diverse audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues
Knowledge of operational best practices, including quality control, performance management, and process improvement

Responsibilities

Manage delivery operations in UK Pension - Investment Administration at Management CL8 level
Lead and manage a team of 35-50 employees in Investment Administration processes
Oversee end-to-end Investment Administration operations, including Limit Reviews, Investment Management, Fee Adjustments, Payment Allocations, Asset Transfer, Corporate actions & Fund Mergers, Bulk Disinvestment, Annual Statements, Data Development, Application and Payment, and Income tax submissions/enquiries
Implement control frameworks to manage risks in financial reporting, access governance, data security, privacy, and process controls
Drive Operations transformation and change initiatives at scale (e.g., RPA, OCR, data analytics, workflow) to improve productivity and efficiency
Identify future risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure process resiliency
Define and implement risk metrics to track and monitor processes
Analyze complex problems and deliver tactical and strategic solutions
Apply business strategy lens to decision-making across strategic and detailed levels
