Responsibilities
Provide high level of customer service: answer questions, recommend deli items, take special orders and calls, help select products, sample products
Slice, package, weigh deli products (cheeses, meats); prepare and package special orders and party trays
Receive, inspect, display, stock, rotate, and store deli shipments following policies
Ensure products are fresh, meet quality standards; check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage procedures
Maintain wide variety of products on deli cooler shelves and display cases; stock and rotate as necessary
Operate deli equipment safely; clean and sanitize equipment, food surfaces, rotisserie ovens, utensils, refrigerated cases, and deli cooler
Maintain presentation, cleanliness of deli display cases and department
Ensure scale systems are managed (inferred from context)
Greet, anticipate, appreciate members (GAA); deliver GOLD Member Standards and club standards daily
Act with honesty, integrity; address/escalate member concerns; ensure safe, positive environment; embrace inclusion and diversity; work collaboratively as a team
