Responsibilities
Provides a high level of customer service to Members, answers questions, recommends deli items, answers calls, and takes special orders
Slices, packages, and weighs deli products including cheeses and meats; helps Members select products and samples them to assist purchasing decisions
Prepares and packages special orders and party trays
Receives and inspects deli shipments; displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following policies
Ensures all products are fresh and meet quality standards; checks for out-of-date products daily and follows salvage procedures
Ensures deli cooler shelves and display cases have a wide variety of products; stocks and rotates items as necessary
Operates and handles deli equipment per safety policies
Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and food surfaces throughout the department, including rotisserie ovens, cooking utensils, refrigerated cases, and the deli cooler
Ensures scale systems are maintained (inferred from context)
Maintains presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases
Supports club policies, procedures, and compliance; acts with honesty, integrity, and member focus
Ensures a safe and positive environment; embraces inclusion and diversity; works collaboratively as a team
Delivers GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate); resolves member concerns
Maintains GOLD club standards daily, including stocking, promotional execution, signage, cleanliness, and organization
