Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently
Ability to work in a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures), outside weather conditions, and low to moderate noise levels

Prepare and produce deli products according to production planner (including food preparation, frying)
Package and label deli products per program plan
Merchandise (display) deli products per flight plan/merchandising expectations
Stock backroom with deli products, including rotating and dating cases/buckets
Work as a team with other departments and stores to achieve growth in SpartanNash retail stores
Notify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered
Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, measures, and cleaning steps completed to other associates
Follow all PPE and safety guidelines
Follow all food safety and cleaning expectations
Follow guest experience guidelines
Contribute to the financial best interest of the store
May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
