Candidates must possess a TS/SCI security clearance and have completed technical training related to the operations and maintenance of the DRSN DSS-2A switch. Familiarity with various encryption devices, such as KIV-7, and experience performing BERT tests are required. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work rotating shift schedules or standby as needed for 24/7 coverage.
The Defense Red Switch Network Technician/Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment and circuits that support the DRSN at the Pentagon. They will also manage the operation and maintenance of ancillary devices, including ISTs, ECCs, CEUs, MDAs, and UMUXs.
