Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Some relevant experience and skills developed through training or work
- Ability to work with deadlines and follow directions
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends, occasional Tuesdays, Sundays, and holidays
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to read and understand mix formulas and use a digital scale
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Constant bending, stretching, and good eye/hand coordination
- Ability to withstand hot temperatures
- Ability to pull and push carts filled with donuts
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Mix cake donut mix and yeast mixes
- Sheet the dough
- Cut the dough
- Proof the donuts
- Fry the donuts
- Finish the donuts
- Distribute finished products
- Follow safe, sanitary food handling policies to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses
- Clean work areas
- Wash all equipment
- Take out trash
- Perform other tasks according to production needs, including occasional work in other production areas
