Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, data science, or related field
  • Coursework with databases or in a programming language
  • Successful completion of actuarial exams or other Company-approved courses (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Work with project stakeholders to identify business requirements and expected outcomes
  • Create, evaluate, and summarize data assets for internal and external use (including government agencies)
  • Evaluate and complete regulatory data requests accurately and timely
  • Understand data sources and data lineage across various computer systems
  • Build, maintain, and document code for data transformation, aggregation, and analysis
  • Create and enhance data extracts and analyses to support data reporting
  • Evaluate data reliability, investigate data integrity, and provide technical expertise for ensuring data quality
  • Assist with training and mentoring of other associates
  • Contribute to and promote the peer review process and develop quality control measures
