Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, data science, or related field
Coursework with databases or in a programming language
Successful completion of actuarial exams or other Company-approved courses (preferred)
Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Technical writing skills

Initiative, motivation, organization, and leadership skills
Ability to lead projects and coordinate among diverse stakeholders
Ability to mentor and share knowledge

Responsibilities

Work with project stakeholders to identify business requirements and expected outcomes
Create, evaluate, and summarize data assets for internal and external use (including government agencies)
Evaluate and complete regulatory data requests accurately and timely
Understand data sources and data lineage across various computer systems
Build, maintain, and document code for data transformation, aggregation, and analysis
Create and enhance data extracts and analyses to support data reporting
Evaluate data reliability, investigate data integrity, and provide technical expertise for ensuring data quality
Assist with training and mentoring of other associates
Contribute to and promote the peer review process and develop quality control measures
