Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in a data science, product analytics, or similar quantitative role. Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with data warehouses like Redshift, Snowflake, or Bigquery is required. Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning, along with experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B tests, model variants, etc.), is essential. The ability to translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses with clear takeaways and comfort working in fast-paced, early-stage environments with high ambiguity are also necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence decisions across technical and non-technical stakeholders are expected.

Responsibilities

The Data Scientist will partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to shape the future of AI-native social platforms. They will define product success, surface insights to inform product decisions, and create systems to help the company work smarter with data. Responsibilities include defining success metrics, informing product and growth strategy, designing and analyzing A/B tests and experiments, building and maintaining dashboards and reporting pipelines, and leading the development of product and marketing KPIs to track user engagement, retention, and growth. The role also involves fostering a data-informed culture across product and leadership teams.
