Candidates should have 6-8+ years of experience as a data scientist with a growth focus, including experience in paid acquisition, product marketing, SEO, social media, lifecycle marketing, product analytics, and conversion optimization. Proficiency in SQL and BI/visualization tools like Omni, Mode, Hex, or Looker is required, along with experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests and statistical experiments. Experience with data modeling and pipeline development using tools like dbt or Airflow is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience at a high-growth startup, hands-on dbt and data engineering experience, familiarity with Snowflake and modern data stack tools, Python for data analysis, and machine learning experience in growth applications such as LTV prediction, churn modeling, attribution modeling, and recommendation systems.
The Data Scientist will collaborate with Growth, Marketing, Product, Enterprise, and Partnership teams to provide data-driven insights for growth initiatives. Responsibilities include performing deep-dive analyses on user behavior and retention, leading user research and segmentation, designing and interpreting A/B tests, defining and visualizing key growth metrics, developing data models and pipelines, supporting revenue growth through pricing and subscription analysis, analyzing paid acquisition channels, and conducting analysis on social media and SEO performance.
