Expertise in a scientific computing language like R or Python, proficiency in SQL, and a strong understanding of statistics, machine learning, and experimental design are essential. Experience in designing and implementing complex modeling solutions from ideation to production at scale, influencing high-impact decisions, and strong project management skills are also required.
The Data Scientist will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Data Science teams to shape product strategy using scientific solutions. Responsibilities include applying statistical, machine learning, and econometric models to measure results, identify causal impact, predict future performance, and design data science solutions. This includes designing, analyzing, and interpreting experiments, developing key metrics, driving data collection and refinement, and creating compelling analyses to inspire action.
