Data Scientist

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Data Scientist with a strong background in operational analytics and workflow optimization to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving business value through data-driven insights, building impactful visualizations, and optimizing complex workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dynamic dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support real-time decision-making.
• Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and performance opportunities.
• Optimize and automate workflows through data engineering, scripting, and dashboard integrations.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand pain points and deliver tailored data solutions.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across platforms and help streamline data pipelines.

Capabilities & Skills

• Proven ability to translate complex datasets into business insights that drive operational improvements.
• Advanced experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire).
• Strong understanding of oil & gas data sources, including Aries, and production systems.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
• Experience optimizing or automating workflows and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Geosciences, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 10+ years in a data science or advanced analytics role, preferably within oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors.
