Requirements

The Data Scientist should possess 1-3 years of professional experience in data science, product analytics, or healthcare, demonstrating the ability to independently solve difficult problems and deliver high-quality results to senior stakeholders. They must have experience with Python and SQL, and a willingness to “roll up their sleeves” to ensure company success. Furthermore, experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment is required, along with authorization to work lawfully in the United States of America.

Responsibilities

This role involves building and maintaining data-driven algorithms, including AI and machine learning models, to improve provider recommendations and the member search experience, enhancing Garner’s understanding of the provider landscape by evaluating and integrating data from multiple sources, designing scalable data pipelines that ingest, clean, and enrich healthcare provider data, and collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
