Candidates should have proven experience in data engineering, with strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, dbt, and Snowflake. Experience building and maintaining large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines across heterogeneous sources, a strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and transformation best practices, and familiarity with data governance, monitoring, and quality assurance are required. Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams is also necessary, with bonus points for prior experience supporting machine learning workflows or analytics platforms.
The Data Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust pipelines to ingest, transform, and consolidate data from diverse sources, designing dbt models and transformations to standardize and unify tables, and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant data workflows using Fivetran, dbt, SQL, and Python. They will partner with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data availability, accuracy, and usability, own data quality and reliability across the stack, and continuously improve pipeline performance, monitoring, and scalability.
