Candidates should possess at least 12-15 years of total IT experience, with a strong background in data architecture and design. They should have experience with various cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and a solid understanding of data lake, warehouse, and real-time analytics solutions. Strong experience in designing and architecting medium to large data warehouses, creating data models (conceptual, logical, physical), and implementing data architecture patterns is required. Familiarity with data governance, security, integration, data quality management, metadata management, and data lineage is also necessary. Experience with Agile methodologies, data products, DevOps, and DataOps practices, along with data fabric and data ingestion tools, is expected.
The Lead Data Architect will be responsible for developing and executing the enterprise-wide data & analytics strategy, guiding a data team, and shaping the company's data landscape to achieve a single source of truth. They will oversee data governance, security, integration, and data quality initiatives, defining architectural design patterns and best practices. The role involves designing end-to-end data solutions, participating in defining data strategy roadmaps, creating reusable utilities, and leading data warehouse migrations. Additionally, the architect will automate data quality checks, monitor and troubleshoot data platform issues, and ensure high data integrity.
