Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering with 2-5 years of experience in process engineering or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (other languages a plus)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to plan/prioritize tasks and take initiative
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Traceability concepts
  • Driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Organize, standardize, maintain, and drive continuous improvement for the cutting process
  • Create and update documentation based on customer specifications, H&S regulations, Aptiv guidelines, automotive market/EU norms and standards
  • Support production sites across EMEA in defining best practices
  • Optimize the process and support management in controlling/improving KPIs, including back office records of metrics
  • Coordinate Cutting Technology (cable & tubes) activity in EDS EMEA
  • Act as co-leader for the Global Cutting Horizontal Team
  • Coordinate equipment technical needs for cutting network roll-out
  • Represent Cutting, Special Cables & department in the EOS team
  • Support start-up of processes on different sites, assuring flawless launches
  • Maintain engineering documentation and ME standards (POS/PFMEA templates/BOP/EOS/BOE) and provide inputs for DFMEA & BOD
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (EOS), Environmental Management System, and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Management System
  • Comply with and enforce internal control rules
  • Demonstrate leadership and commitment to the quality management system
  • Operate autonomously in roles and responsibilities
  • Perform tasks to assemble ME, ensure flow 3/quote per real needs, and update shopping list for responsible equipment
  • Analyze technical documentation (e.g., technical drawings, specifications, standards, special customer requirements)
  • Stay abreast of market conditions and trends
