Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding agent or industrial clerk with professional experience, preferably in customs or supply chain management, and/or a degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
  • Experience with customs procedures, the Union Customs Code (UCC), and other EU regulations
  • Experience with special economic procedures, private international law (PIL), and international private international law (IPR)
  • Sound knowledge of Dakosy GE, MS Office, and SAP R/3 & GTS (Global Trade System)
  • Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
  • Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to concentrate
  • Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good written and spoken German skills and good English skills

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of customs declarations import and export
  • Reviewing customs invoices and tax assessments from external service providers
  • Communication with internal business units, suppliers, forwarders, consignees and warehouse keepers
  • Prepare all customs-related documents and support internal and external audits
  • Providing customs advice and support to the business units and group companies
  • Communication with customs authorities
