Requirements

Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding agent or industrial clerk with professional experience, preferably in customs or supply chain management, and/or a degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
Experience with customs procedures, the Union Customs Code (UCC), and other EU regulations
Experience with special economic procedures, private international law (PIL), and international private international law (IPR)
Sound knowledge of Dakosy GE, MS Office, and SAP R/3 & GTS (Global Trade System)
Analytical thinking and quick comprehension
Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to concentrate
Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Very good written and spoken German skills and good English skills

Responsibilities

Preparation of customs declarations import and export
Reviewing customs invoices and tax assessments from external service providers
Communication with internal business units, suppliers, forwarders, consignees and warehouse keepers
Prepare all customs-related documents and support internal and external audits
Providing customs advice and support to the business units and group companies
Communication with customs authorities
