Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in the OTC/FMCG pharmacy environment
  • Strong track record in executing pharmacy-focused initiatives
  • Solid sales and negotiation capabilities
  • Understanding of consumer goods P&L and performance drivers
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in category management and driver identification
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (preferred)
  • Experience within Healthcare OTC, FMCG, or Beauty Care (preferred)
  • Previous experience in Trade Marketing or Digital Marketing (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class merchandising and POS materials to maximise availability and visibility of key SKUs
  • Design and execute trade campaigns aligned with marketing priorities to support pharmacist sell-out, drive visibility, and enhance brand share of voice
  • Lead planning and activation of in-store events (roadshows, concourse activities, health days, etc.) for national and local pharmacy partners
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create trade toolkits (planograms, promotions, merchandising, communication) for key accounts and special projects
  • Analyse data to assess performance, strengthen category strategy, and identify new business opportunities
  • Identify and translate shopper insights into actionable strategies and winning retail experiences
  • Leverage point-of-sale opportunities to increase promotional effectiveness, reduce switch, and improve overall conversion
  • Act as the voice of the trade channel, sharing field insights with Brand Marketing and proactively proposing initiatives that bring strategy to life at retail
  • Partner closely with Trade Key Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Key Account Specialists to align on priorities and drive cohesive execution
  • Prepare for and participate in key internal and external sales meetings
  • Support the growth of Karo brands across trade channels through high-quality execution
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal partners to drive joint business plans
  • Monitor trade promotion effectiveness and ensure compliance with legal and corporate standards
  • Oversee trade-marketing budget responsibilities and track performance via dashboards/KPIs
