Responsibilities

The Video Editor and Animator will create high-quality videos and short clips for platforms such as YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels, aligning with the director’s vision and project goals. They will edit film pieces to ensure smooth transitions, handle and organize video files, and export videos for mobile and web distribution. The role involves understanding production team needs, reviewing scripts and raw footage, trimming and sequencing footage, adding music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, and producing rough and final cuts. Furthermore, the candidate will consult with stakeholders throughout the editing process, implement new editing technologies, adjust formats and file sizes, and develop strategies to attract and retain subscribers on the Token Metrics YouTube channel. They will also ensure compliance with journalistic standards and explore different editing directions.
