Requirements

Master’s Degree in the Human Services field
Preferred: LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, LPC
CPR/First Aid and CPI certified
Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks
Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
Ability to perform sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount frequently; sitting most of the time but may involve brief walking or standing

Responsibilities

Provide phone, face-to-face, and mobile crisis intervention as clinically appropriate and document all contacts on appropriate forms
Deliver individual, group, family, and practical counseling to meet client needs and treatment goals
Assess and facilitate admission to the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit and evaluate clients for discharge based on safety
Consult with law enforcement and hospital emergency rooms regarding alternatives for client disposition
Participate in staff development activities and contribute to team growth
Provide rapid aid in emotional crisis situations through crisis intervention services
Attend scheduled conference calls, webinars, meetings, and supervision sessions
Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Crisis Services or designee
