Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information. Familiarity with medical terminology and credentialing processes is also required.
The Credentialing Coordinator will coordinate the credentialing of applicants for membership and reappointment in compliance with defined schedules, collect and analyze information to identify potential quality of care issues, prepare and manage credentialing applications for completeness and accuracy, maintain and monitor the enrollment process, investigate issues of concern, generate reports, and present findings to facilitate recommendations to the Board of Trustees. They will also process applications from Allied Health professionals and maintain required Medical Staff documents to ensure compliance.
