1+ years experience as a veterinary technician (newly licensed technicians also encouraged to apply)
A veterinary technician certification or licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT)

Responsibilities

Focus on patient care, including patient handling and husbandry
Provide client education
Perform surgical/dental nursing and anesthesia management
Maintain detailed record keeping
Manage diagnostics
Administer medications
Conduct emergency triage and response
Work alongside veterinarians and nurses to provide top-quality patient care
Attend monthly educational events and activities supported by Medical leadership and on-staff specialists

The pay is $17-$30/hour based on experience, with a Sign On Bonus for licensed individuals, Shift Differential / Premium Rate based on day of the week, location, and tenure, and Team-Based Profit Sharing Bonus.

This is an on-site full-time position (30-40 hrs/week) with a rotating schedule of 10 hr shifts at clinics on Long Island.
