Requirements

Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in creative operations or project management within creative services, advertising, or marketing, ideally in an in-house creative organization. Demonstrated proficiency in managing the end-to-end project management pipeline for a small, collaborative creative organization with a global reach is essential. The role requires the ability to build and optimize new processes, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for influencing stakeholders and resolving conflict, and a strong listening ability to synthesize feedback. Candidates must be able to drive difficult conversations about resources and timelines, work efficiently on multiple projects, and be familiar with tools like Jira, Confluence, Coda, and G Suite. Humility, empathy, and open-mindedness are also required.

Responsibilities

The Creative Operations Manager will serve as a liaison between the creative team and internal stakeholders, managing the project pipeline from planning to delivery. Responsibilities include collaborating with creative leadership to build efficient processes, driving project prioritization, scoping, and resource allocation for creative teams. The role involves managing external resources and freelance talent, including contract negotiation, and developing complex project timelines to ensure on-time and on-brief delivery. This position requires communicating status updates, coordinating stakeholder reviews, identifying and implementing workflow technologies, providing transparency on initiatives, and mitigating risks. Additionally, the manager will provide thought leadership on creative process improvements.
